SLIDESHOW: Methuen's Independence Day celebration (2024)

METHUEN— With bursts of color the city celebrated Independence Day at The Loop this year. The fireworks celebration was held on Saturday July 13, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at The Loop, 90 Pleasant Valley St. Alongside the show games, food, live music and giveaways were also offered. The festivities included a beer garden and kid zone.Food trucks were parked nearby to feed the crowds. The sky above the loop became fractured with light at around 9:30 p.m. The event was postponed a week due to thunderstorms.
